"History Comes Alive" Media Launch
The Victoria Chinese Commerce Association (VCCA) and the 150 Years In Golden Mountain Celebration Committee presents 150 Years in Golden Mountain, a series of celebration events to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the Chinese in Canada.
The media are invited to join the VCCA on February 13 for the colourful "History Comes Alive" Media Launch. Learn about the Golden Mountain Achievement Awards and the official 'Call for Nominations'. Hear about events over the next 150 days, leading up to the auspicious date of 08-08-08, a date of good fortune in Chinese culture.
