Honour Roll of Nominees

When the nominations closed, for the committee, it became obvious that the group of nominees represented a "powerhouse". Not a powerhouse in the usual sense, but a powerhouse of good and dedicated individuals and organizations. We knew that it would be an extremely difficult task for our independent selection committee to decide on who would be selected in each category.

The nominees' years of dedication and service to Canada and community will certainly exceed these past 150 years. The job of the selection committee was difficult due to the slim differences between each candidate.

We congratulate all the nominated candidates in each category of the Golden Mountain Achievement Awards. All are meritorious and all deserve to be recognized for their service and contributions to Canada and our community.
